People sometimes ask why the framework is given away in this much detail. The answer is that the framework was never the scarce thing. You can read every book, take the diagnostic, and know precisely what your configuration is — and still not be able to do anything about it at three o'clock on a Thursday when the pressure arrives.

What is scarce is the work of actually changing, and that has never been available in a book.
